American Heart Association (AHA) Courses
We are an American Heart Association-authorized provider of basic and advanced cardiac life support training BLS, ACLS, CPR. We provide same-day certification.
Classroom vs Blended Learning
Both BLS and ACLS courses are available in two different formats – (I) Classroom Learning and (II) Blended Learning (aka Heartcode). Both learning formats teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA Course Completion Card.
For Blended Learning (aka Heartcode), students must complete both Step 1 "eLearning (online modules)" & Step 2 "Skills Session" to complete the course.
Step 1: eLearning (online modules). This must be completed first. The online completion certificate must be presented to the Instructor upon arrival to the hands-on skills session. Register online for Step 1 at https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls ( Fee for this section is paid directly to AHA). Approximately 90 minutes to complete. After successful completion of the online portion, students may enroll in the skills session.
Step 2: Skills Session. This is an in-person session focused on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, and testing. Approximately 1-2 hours to complete, depending on class size and level of experience. Pre-registration is required.
